Ruston your Mac.

Rust does not run on a Mac - not through Hrava, and not through any other solution. Easy Anti-Cheat is a kernel-level Windows driver that has to load before the game starts, and macOS does not load Windows kernel drivers. Rust also has no single-player mode: it is a multiplayer-only survival game, and EAC is enabled on servers by default. This is a macOS limitation, not a Hrava one.

The details that matter.

Mac & macOS
Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 and newer), macOS 14+
Verdict
Rust does not launch on Mac
Anti-cheat
Anti-cheat blocks launch - Easy Anti-Cheat (kernel-level) loads before the game, so it does not start on Mac in any mode

Before you press Play

A profile, not a promise.

This is an existing catalog profile, not a benchmark or a guarantee for every Mac. Check the setup and game-specific notes before purchasing.

Game updates, launchers and anti-cheat can change compatibility. A catalog listing is not a guarantee that every mode works on every configuration.

Hrava runs thousands of Windows games natively on Apple Silicon. Check the catalog before you buy.

Kernel-level anti-cheat - EAC, EA AntiCheat, Vanguard, BattlEye, nProtect - is a Windows kernel driver. macOS does not load Windows drivers, so no translation layer can get around it: not Hrava, not CrossOver, not Whisky, not a virtual machine. There is no single-player Rust to fall back on either - the game ships without an offline mode, and Facepunch have said plainly that they will not support players who get around the anti-cheat. Until Facepunch supports the Mac, the game stays unplayable here - the rest of our catalog is unaffected.

Write to support@hrava.com and we will refund you - the 14-day money-back guarantee covers exactly this case. For the same base-building survival loop, Valheim, 7 Days to Die and Project Zomboid all run on Apple Silicon, and each of them lets you host your own world.
