Your games - on a huge screen in your headset

Hrava runs the Windows game on your Mac and streams the picture to your headset's browser over Wi-Fi. Nothing is installed on the headset. You play with a gamepad, keyboard or mouse - and watch on a big virtual screen.

Turn on streaming in Hrava

Open the VR panel in Hrava - it shows an address and a QR code.

Open the address in your headset

Scan the QR in the headset browser, or type the address.

Enter the PIN

Once per headset. Then start a game on the Mac - streaming begins on its own.

What this does, and what it does not

What you get

  • A big virtual screen - the game looks like it is on a huge monitor
  • The game runs on your Mac's GPU; the headset only displays it
  • Up to 1080p at 60 fps, over Wi-Fi, protected by a PIN
  • Play with a gamepad, keyboard or mouse; the headset controller works too
  • Nothing is installed on the headset - a browser is all it needs

What it does NOT do

  • This is not a stereoscopic VR mode: the game stays flat, with no 3D depth
  • No in-game head tracking (6DoF) - the game camera does not follow your head
  • Ordinary games do not become VR games
  • It needs your home Wi-Fi: this does not work over the internet
