V Rising on Mac

V Rising - the single-player part runs on Mac with Apple Silicon through Hrava (engine DXMT), but online servers run through EAC; official multiplayer is blocked. This is a macOS limitation, not a Hrava one: kernel-level anti-cheat does not work on Mac in any solution.

How to run V Rising on Mac

01

Get Hrava

Buy Hrava ($39) and download the app - one small .app, no Terminal, no drivers.

02

Connect Steam

Sign in to Steam inside Hrava and install V Rising through the built-in SteamCMD.

03

Press “Play”

Hrava picks the engine (DXMT) and launches the game natively on your GPU. Optionally, export it as a standalone launcher.

Honest about the limits

Online servers run through EAC; official multiplayer is blocked. Kernel-level anti-cheat - EAC, Vanguard, BattlEye, nProtect - does not work on macOS in any solution (not Hrava, not CrossOver, not virtual machines): it is a limitation of the platform itself. If all you need is the protected online mode of V Rising - it will not launch on Mac. Single-player and unprotected modes work fine.
