Terms of Service

Last updated: September 19, 2026.

What Hrava is. Hrava is a macOS application - a compatibility layer that runs Windows games you already own on Apple Silicon Macs. You bring your own game licenses - through your own Steam account or bought elsewhere; Hrava does not sell, bundle or distribute any games.

Purchase and delivery

Hrava is sold as a one-time purchase ($39 at the time of writing; the current price is always shown on the pricing page and at checkout). This is a digital product: immediately after payment your account is activated, and the download link plus your license key appear in your account. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.

Payments

All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as Merchant of Record for your order - your order is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms, and Paddle appears on your card statement. We never see or store your card details.

License

Your license is personal and non-transferable. It activates Hrava on Macs that you own or control for personal use; it may not be resold, shared publicly, or used to provide a hosted service. All future updates of the application are included.

Fair expectations

The application is provided "as is". We continuously improve compatibility, but some titles may never run because of platform limitations (for example, kernel-level anti-cheat does not work on macOS in any solution). Check the compatibility catalog before buying, and remember the 14-day refund window exists precisely so you can verify your own games.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Hrava to violate third-party terms (including Steam's), to circumvent DRM you do not have rights to, or to break any applicable law.

Open-source components

Third-party components are governed by their own licenses. Those licenses take precedence over conflicting Hrava terms. Hrava does not restrict modification of LGPL-covered components or reverse engineering needed to debug those modifications. The same three-year source offer applies to older engines distributed with Hrava. The available archives are being checked for completeness; a missing file does not limit your rights under the applicable license. Contact us for the sources of the version you received. Corresponding source. Optional Microsoft and NVIDIA components are obtained separately during setup, from vendor sources or download mirrors. They are not part of Hrava.app and remain subject to their own terms.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above always reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced on this page. Questions - use the contact form; a real person replies.
